“ This place has a cool vibe Coffee is above average I mean a place that serves wine and coffee in the same place you think would have more hipsters and less hendertuckians This is at the very tippy end of water street where you think "I didn't know this road went this far" I would come back to this place I will say if you sit outside you get to see that people do not know how to park ”
“ Great coffee bar. Nice outdoor seating area in downtown Henderson. Nice bar seating food was OK, and service also OK. Seems like a place for regulars, a place to go and relax and waste a few hours on a Sunday Morning. Enjoy. ”
“ I like going to local coffee places over larger chains, so when I saw this one I had to go. The drinks that I got tasted amazing. I got a honey/lavender iced matcha also an iced toffee-nut latte. The service was also fantastic. The girl at the counter was super sweet even though clover didn't want to load for her. The shop itself is super cute. I love the mural that's painted on the outside of the building, and the decor inside ”
“ Because who doesn't want to go to a place that has wine on one side and java on the other. Hello? Party on the left and the right? Sign me UP! The hazelnut mocha was delish, not too sweet and with almond milk, sooo good. My companion's double espresso was doubly delicious and so was the avocado toast he inhaled. We sat at the bar jabbering for a few hours and the cute kids even gave us some waters while we lollygagged! We will be back! ”
“ Excellent Service! The Staff is always friendly and helpful when we come here. This is our third time trying this place out and we loved it the first time! The problem is we enjoyed everything so much we kept forgetting to take pictures before eating. Love the Cuban Honey coffee, the Lavender, Caramel and Chocolate Latte. The Lox and Bagel is to die for, if you want to share ask for it open faced, and my number one favorite is the Avocado Pesto Toast! I will eat this until the Apocalypse!!! ”
“ Excellent service Excellent coffee Laid back atmosphere/ambiance is hipster This was my first time coming here, as every time I'm on Water Street, they are closed. I'm so sad that I've never been here before!!! This place is awesome! Coffee and some breakfast items are available in the mornings, and evening time they are a really cool wine bar (yes, yes, I will be coming back for vino!) Tons of seating available, and they have covered seating outside as well. Dog friendly patio, as far as I could tell, as well. Very clean and super cute indoor area. They even have live music on certain days. Swing by and support LOCAL! This place is better than Starbucks, for sure. ”
“ I hadn't been here in a long while, and thought I'd give this place a go. My daughter and I ordered a PSL and a cinnamon roll. The coffee was not too bold, and the pumpkin flavor was not over the top or too light either. The cinnamon roll was fresh. They get them from Flemming's European Bakery on water street. I would have liked a few more options for food, but I understand that with fresh offerings, you get more selection the earlier you come. There wasn't a line when we arrived, and they were prompt with the coffee as well. We liked the comfy chairs they have available. However, they also have cafeteria style tables and high tops for people who need a workspace. I liked the phone booth of books. I thought that was a clever use of space. I was also surprised to learn about the attached wine bar. The last time I was here, that wasn't there...so it's been awhile. I'm glad I made it back. ”
“ Stopped by after at an early Saturday morning and figured we'd try out their coffee and breakfast. They're located in the Water Street District and it was nice seeing that the area has been cleaned up. The coffee shop/wine bar has a cozy ambiance and is self seating, definitely would get crowded if you're here later in the day. We got two iced vanilla latte as well as the salmon lox toast and the Loraine quiche. Coffee came quickly and food took a while, big overall the wait wasn't too bad. Coffee is decent but not the most flavorful, and the food had good portions and plenty of flavor as well. There's not much service for the mornings, as you order at the counter and get your coffee and food from the counter when they're ready. They're also using disposable utensils and to go boxes, so it feels more of a grab and go place than a sit down, relaxing coffee spot. Give it a try when you're in the area! ”
“ I paid a visit to nearby City Hall to drop off my electoral ballot and I decided to swing by Public Works Coffee Bar for a coffee and a light snack on my way home. This Public Works is the standalone location, with the other one being inside America First Center, the arena where the Silver Knights play. I've actually never been this far down Water Street before and was amazed to see new local business that I've never seen before, especially Public Works. There were a few parking spaces right out front, but despite the ridiculous heat that we're in right now, I chose to park in the parking lot just up the street and walk over because, I did not dare to parallel park on the street, which is something I haven't done since my driver's test over a decade ago. The staff was full of energy and were singing along to the early 2000's music playing. Heck, it made me want to sing along with them! With it being so hot outside, I ordered a large iced coffee with vanilla flavoring and a bagel with cream cheese as my light snack. They have a very nice, spacious patio outside but I chose to remain inside due to the heat. The coffee really hit the spot and it just burst with that vanilla flavor upon my first sip. The bagel with cream cheese, which was warmed up, was soft and had lots of added flavor to it with the cream cheese. I had the first half as my snack for that day and the second half as my breakfast the next day. The best part is that my bagel didn't dry out overnight, which meant it was still edible. I loved the phone booth inside which had books and Polaroids of random dogs! This reminded me of my recent trip to Europe, where I saw a real life but out of service phone booth in Scotland that resembled the one here. If you're in or around Water Street and need a coffee fix, Public Works is your place. Come check them out! ”
“ Been here before but it was crowded and noisy so we haven't been back. This Saturday around 11:30am was perfect. There were some ppl there but plenty of seats/tables to enjoy. They have slightly renovated since the last time I can here with nicer bar stools and nicer furniture. Looks like they are going to stay open later this June as they are opening a wine bar of sort. Can't wait for it. The coffee is always nice here to enjoy. We got our lattes and worked away. WiFi was easy to connect. Very clean shop. Workers were all attentive and there were a steady amt of ppl coming to grab their day's coffee fix. Plenty of seatings outside as well. It was too windy today for us to sit outside but would love to do that on a nice day. ”
